BMF (Baltic Forestry Machines), a manufacturer of forestry trailers, loglift cranes, and accessories, had all internal production processes managed in their ERP system — except supplier ordering, which was still handled manually and sent out via email. This created delays, missed steps, and a lack of transparency for both internal teams and suppliers.

Digital Fruit, acting as BMF’s digital partner and product owner, led the initiative to close this gap. Through planning, user interviews, and direct engagement with production workflows, we designed a structured, real-time ordering process.

We partnered with BlendIT to develop a modern supplier portal, which is fully integrated into BMF’s ERP system via a real-time, two-way API. The portal is used by both internal teams and external suppliers, offering a shared, always up-to-date view.
